Skills Required • Communication skills. Computer literacy. Knowledge of administrative duties. Numerical and literacy skills. Team player and Leadership skills. • To Coordinate programmes for and stakeholders involved in crime prevention and community safety in the Local Municipality / Municipal Zone. • To be the champion in crime fighting, community mobilisation and coordination of law enforcement agencies and other organizations (including NGO, Civil Society, NPOs and private sector). • Manage and monitor the safety patrollers in the district in consultation with the relevant district management, • Crime Prevention planning and stakeholder coordination. • Identify community safety challenges and coordinate relevant interventions in the Local Municipality / Municipal Zones in consultation with relevant departmental management. • Manage and implement community safety programmes in the district. • Ensure the victims of crime receive the necessary services required and liaise with relevant service providers and law enforcement agencies. • Attend monthly / quarterly District Meetings as directed by the relevant departmental district manager. • Perform other duties as assigned by the relevant manager.Kwazulu Natal - Community Safety and LiaisonSeptember 11, 2026
