Performs technical functions associated with the evaluation of building plan, festival, tent, wayleave, borehole and
attending to general civil engineering enquiries through investigation, analysis and interpretation of data and/or
materials and analyzing results in adherence to laid down standards, policies, systems and controls to facilitate the
recording, updating, circulation and maintenance of information with regards to various administrative activities
related to the Sub-Section.
Requirements
• National Diploma in Engineering • Code B Driver’s License • Computer literacy (MS Office Applications) • Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape • Good human relations, interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to give attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to handle conflict • No experience required • The ability to understand the key drivers in • The ability to establish and maintain the Local Government sector and the productive relationships with people within municipality in order to apply this and outside of the municipality understanding to meet the service delivery • The capacity to listen attentively, grasp challenges issues, present information in a clear manner and respond appropriately to • Ability to scrutinise own work and that of verbal and written communication of others to ensure accuracy and compliance others with the relevant engineering standards
