Job Purpose: To perform lifeguard duties, facility maintenance and supervision, personnel and finance management, and to manage access control at municipal swimming pools

Requirements
Grade 12 Valid Lifeguard Award with yearly re-test certificate Valid First Aid Level 1 certificate At least two years’ relevant swimming pool operations experience Knowledge of swimming pool operations (filtration systems) Valid Code B driving licence Computer literacy Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost Willingness and ability to work on Saturdays according to a fixed schedule Willingness to be redeployed temporarily to another facility in Region 3 Personal attributes Integrity; intelligence; patience; imagination; flexibility; willingness to accept and/or competencies responsibility; decisiveness; ability to pay attention to detail; being empathetic
