INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE
SUPERINTENDENT: SERVICE BAY
(FLEET MANAGEMENT SERVICES)

TASK Grade 11 (R462 384 – R642 900 per
annum)

Qualifications and experience required:
- Trade-tested artisan.
- Code EC driver’s licence – PrDP.
- Three to five years relevant working
experience (post-trade test).
Key attributes and competencies:
- Good communication skills.
- Good supervisory skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- High level of alertness and safety
consciousness.
The physical
attributes associated with this post necessitates that the incumbent is
physically fit and able-bodied to perform the relevant functions, and as such,
shortlisted candidates will be required to submit themselves to the Municipal
Medical Doctor to be medically examined as part of the selection process.
Job purpose:
Coordinating
and controlling the operations in the workshop, inclusive of monitoring and implementing
procedures, establishing resource requirements, planning and scheduling maintenance
programmes and evaluating outcomes, monitoring and attending to deviations in
productivity and performance and attending to specific administrative and
information reporting requirements and processes.
As part of
the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or
competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination,
security vetting and psychometric assessment.
Fringe
