Requirements
An appropriate Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc/BVMCh or equivalent qualification) recognised by the South African Veterinary Council; Compulsory registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC); A minimum of 1 year post qualification experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Extensive fieldwork and exposure to infectious diseases; Ability to work in high-pressure outbreak environments; Physical mobility and ability to conduct inspections and investigations; Availability for after-hours and emergency response. Skills in the following: Computer literacy; Financial Management; Statistical; Research; Analytical; Communication; Interpretation.
