Bachelor’s degree in Social Worker (NQF Level 7). A minimum of 10 years' recognizable experience in Social Worker. Registration with the SACSSP Council. Computer literacy. A valid driver’s license. DUTIES: Ensure that Social Work Serviceis provided through thepromotion of Social Change, problemsolving in human relationships and empowerment of people to enhance wellbeing. Facilitate the development and planningofProgrammesandInterventionstorenderSocialWorkServicesthroughtheefficient,economicaland effective use of resources. Manage Social Work unit to ensure efficient and effective social work service is deliveredthroughutilization ofresources(human,financeandequipment)inaccordancewithrelevant directives and legislation. Provide integrated social work services within the defined areas regarding care, protection and development of vulnerable groups in partnership and collaboration with relevant stakeholders Health, CorrectionalServices,SouthAfricanPoliceServicesandotherdepartments.EvaluateandMonitorcomplianceto policies, and transversal social work services norms and standards, South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and other relevant legislating policies and procedures. Keep up to date new developments in the Social Work and Management fields and continuous professional development through inter-sectoral collaboration and stakeholder management and ensure that the department contributes to integratedservicesdelivery.
