    Requirements

    A relevant three-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma, BTech or Degree) in Information Systems, Information Communication Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field. Postgraduate qualification in Business Process Management, Data Analytics or Data Governance will be advantageous. 5–8 years’ relevant experience in utility data management, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, SAP billing processes, or system integration environments. Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development and data validation processes. Strong understanding of metering systems, AMI data lifecycle, system integration and data governance practices will be advantageous. Knowledge of SCADA/AMI systems, Head-End Systems, Meter Data Management Systems and SAP IS-U integration will be advantageous. Ability to perform root cause analysis, process optimisation and problem solving will be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), data tools and reporting platforms.

    Duties

    Manage the configuration, governance and integrity of AMI data across multiple platforms including HES, MDMS, SAP IS-U, VPC and mobile applications. Develop, maintain and refine AMI data mappings, business rules, validation criteria and exception management processes. Analyse and manipulate AMI data to identify anomalies, non- technical losses, leakage events, tampering and consumption irregularities. Ensure alignment of AMI data with billing processes and SAP IS-U requirements to support accurate revenue management. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance
