    Requirements

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The recruitment of pre- and post-graduate (contact and distance) students to meet the targets as set out in the enrolment plan.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Direct Marketing and student recruitment through identified schools to adhere to the enrolment plan of the NWURecruitment on individual basis of well balanced and academic excellent prospective students including the identifying students already in grade 9.Liaise with an assigned faculty as decided and agreed in discussions with management.Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.Team Member of Young Eagles assisting with projects.Recruitment Via database and digital mediaRecruitment Via campus visits of prospective learners and parents.Individual interviews with top learners at schoolsAllocated SchoolsGrade 9 information / career guidance eveningsGrade 11 School visitsGrad 12 School visitsIndividual school career exhibitions. 2. ProjectsProject leader for Postgraduate and Distance LearningConvene meetings with the project members as assigned by senior management Compiling of Postgraduate and Distance Learning reports for management.Assist with the finalising of marketing material.Represent Postgraduate and Distance Learning on different forums.Assist with marketing material (brochures, One Pagers) development and distribution to reach enrolment targets.Cooperate with CAAO on matters of mutual concern.Handle and direct queries received from the CRM system on Postgraduate and Distance Learning. Represent UODL on different forums. Convene meetings with the project members as assigned by senior management Compiling of Postgraduate Campaign reports for management.Assist with marketing material (brochures, One Pagers) development and distribution to reach enrolment targets.Cooperate with CAAO on matters of mutual concern. Organising online Postgraduate Open Day events and facilitate academic conference and Expos.Collaborate and lead advertising campaigns and digital marketing.Assist in utilising of bulk and trigger communication.Market the University brand attributes.3. Activations and Sponsorships Identifying and manage of strategic sponsorships focussing on the school sector and liaise with teachers and headmasters in the sector.The visit of schools and recruiting of students to adhere to the enrolment plan of the University/Campus/Faculties/Academic schools through grade 12 and grade 11 visits and parent evenings.The marketing of university and its courses through career exhibitions.Digital marketing and advertising - Recruit, collect data and then disseminate information to           prospective students, handle enquiries, utilise systems to enhance campaigns. Attendance of Open days, activations, and sponsorship eventsIndividual and Group visitsCareer Guidance. 4. Administrative duties As assigned by Manager and/or DirectorAttend all training and staff sessions.Monthly reporting on activities, successes, and challengesUse of the CRM and recruitment appTimeous handling of leave, advance payments, and travel claimsAttendance of planning, staff session and meetingsTimely response on enquiries from prospective learnersEnquiry cards.    5. LiaisonEnsure effective operation of unit through personnel supervision, and provision of adequate resources and facilities.Values-based behaviour leadership and personal complianceLiaise with headmasters, teachers and senior government officials to promote the University and its role in the Education sector.
