DATE ADVERTISED: 28 JULY 2026 VACANCY SENIOR MANAGER: FUND MANAGEMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS FIVE (5) YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT: GRADE 18 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY) Role Purpose The incumbent shall be responsible for providing leadership and management of the Eastern Cape Economic Development Fund. The incumbent will be expected to leverage the Fund resources through partnerships, resource mobilisation and other instruments. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Key Performance Areas will encompass: • Fund management and leadership • Fund operational governance framework • Resource leveraging and mobilisation • Portfolio funding frameworks and product designs • Due diligence systems for funding • Credit and risk assessment systems • Deal structuring, terms and funding approval arrangements • Contracting, compliance and legal procedures • Disbursement and collections • Fund portfolio performance and treasury management • Monitoring, reporting and impact assessment • Fund management systems and relevant ICT platforms MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree qualification in Commerce (Finance/Banking/Economics/Business Management/Accounting) • Relevant postgraduate qualification in Commerce (Finance/Banking/Economics/Business Management/Accounting) • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in areas such as development finance, economic development, investment management or other relevant field of which 5 years must be at management level. This is a five (5) year fixed term appointment, and the successful candidate will be subjected to signing a performance contract.
