Senior Lecturer – Human Anatomy

? A relevant PhD degree or equivalent in Human Anatomy ? At least 3 years of experience – teaching Human Anatomy at an institution of higher learning ? Postgraduate student supervision ? Proof of publication in SAPSE accredited journals ? Experience in e-learning teaching/evaluation ? Experience in assessment and moderation. ? Membership to the Anatomical Society of Southern Africa will be an added advantage.

? Development of Teaching and Learning material (study guides etc) for Human Anatomy students. ? Teaching and learning of Human Anatomy students in theory and practice of (Gross anatomy, histology, neuro-anatomy, etc). ? Apply a variety of teaching styles to teach relevant modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels to Medical and Health Care Sciences students in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Neuro-anatomy and Embryology, as well as conducting practical’s. ? Oversee discipline-based curriculum development, curriculum design and updating of study materials. Evaluate/assess students, identify at-risk-students and facilitate appropriate intervention. ? With a focus on quality assurance, organize module files, and maintain records of all academic activities.
