SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (REF NO: DHET 37/09/2026)

An appropriate 3-year National Diploma in public administration/social sciences. This must be supported by a minimum of (2) two to three (3) years of work experience in administering and coordinating the development of statistical publications. The candidate must demonstrate the capacity to plan and coordinate data collection activities from various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project plans, deliverables and reporting . Experience within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) sector or its entities and understanding of the PSET-related data will be advantageous. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Ms Outlook and PowerPoint is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management, report writing, and ability to arrange and systematise information. A valid driver’s license. DUTIES: The successful candidate will be reporting to the Deputy Director: Data Analyst, under the Sub-Directorate: Information Management and Reporting. The responsibilities include assisting with the development, processing, approval and dissemination of the Statistics on PSET, assist with preparation of submissions, memorandums, development of factsheets and regional reports for the PSET sector, assist with the development and implementation of standards, assist with submission of data logbooks and processing of data requests and provide logistical and administrative support when required.
