JOB SUMMARY
Parliament of South Africa is seeking research professionals that would be responsible to provide strategic research support to the Members and Committees on their oversight, legislative, public and international participation functions. Furthermore, to provide specialised research support to the senior management of Parliament.
Requirements
Applicants should be in possession of a grade 12 certificate and a minimum of an Honours Degree (Equivalent to NQF level 8) in Public Management/Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, Developmental Studies, Public Finance, Law, Economics or Social Sciences. A master’s degree will be advantageous. This should be coupled with three years relevant work-related (applied) research experience. Applicants should possess sector-specific knowledge and understanding of the public service legislative and policy framework and display a thorough understanding of governance processes.
