DEPARTMENT : CORPORATE SERVICES
POSITION : REGISTRY INTERN X2
SALARY : R5000 pm
DURATION : 2 YEARS
REQUIREMENTS: •Grade 12/NCV NQF level 4 •National Diploma in Public Administration/Management or Records Management (NQF6)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: •Assist with receiving incoming and outgoing mail and commencing with recording sequence in inserting dates, details of addresses in registers or computerized registry programs. •Assist with starting the filing system and creating new files using specific code references. •Prepping physical documents (e.g. removing staples, paperclips and repairing tears). •Operating high-speed scanners to convert physical files into secure, high-quality digital formats. •Compiling minutes of the registry meetings and forwarding them to the immediate supervisor for perusal. •Checking scanned documents for clarity, completeness and accuracy to ensure all pages were captured. •Inputting document details (dates, reference numbers, document types). •Identifying and organizing records that are due for permanent archive. •And other duties that are required to be done by the supervisor.
