    Position Overview: The purpose of the position is to manage and support skills development initiatives related to the chemical sector at a provincial and national level on a fixed-term contract up to 2030.

    Requirements

    & Qualifications:NQF Level 7 qualification in Finance, Project Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resource Management/Development, or ODETDP. 3–5 years’ work experience in a Skills Development / HRD environment (SETA, Chemical Industry, Engineering, or Artisan background advantageous). Valid driver’s license (Code EB) and reliable vehicle; ability to travel away from home. Advanced MS Excel & MS Office skills. Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:Manage skills development activities within assigned organisations. Advise stakeholders regarding CHIETA mandatory and discretionary grants processes. Manage Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR). Identify and recruit new companies within the Chemical Sector. Conduct SDF and industry capacity-building workshops. Evaluate discretionary grant training progress, maintain QMS records, and track project milestones/MOAs.
