Requirements
An appropriate tertiary qualification in BEng or BSc (Eng) Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineer Up to eight (8) years’ relevant experience A valid Drivers Licence
Duties
Manage the integrated planning of cross-cutting projects and programmes to ensure integrated approach to service delivery. Analyse, monitor, manage and advise on multi-year capital and operating budget requirements and ensuring compliance to all prescripts Lead the preparation, adjudication, and management of tenders, ensuring compliance with policies and reducing project risks. Provide guidance and support to project managers on tender and contract management processes, including documentation and compliance. Manage period resource tenders (PRT), ensuring timely readvertisement and effective monitoring throughout their lifecycle. Oversee integrated planning projects, managing the full project lifecycle, including benefits, risks, and financial controls Procure professional services, execute tasks related to project implementation, and supervise project teams Coordinate and engagement with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project roll-out. Facilitate community participation and ensure alignment with national, provincial, and City urban development policies to achieve seamless project execution.
