Duties
1. OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Timeous execution of task in accordance with work and safety procedures Conformance to Necsa’s environmental requirements (spills) The assets of PDO that are used during the performance of tasks must be looked after (forklift and Vehicles). Perform AD-HOC tasks. 2. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY Ensure that all safety instructions are adhered to. Maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that all safety instructions are adhered to. Ensure that PPE are used at all relevant times and according to instructions. Ensure the PPE are kept in acceptable conditions. Perform standby duties. Report all incidents and near misses. 3. HOUSEKEEPING Ensure that working areas are kept clean and acceptable. Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained 4. SECURITY CONTROL OF ALL PDO FACILITIES Comply with NECSA’s safety procedures and policies. Assembly (SEA) records, other related records and documents in accordance with PDO quality system requirements. Verification the correction of existing waste records in QA records. Preparation and verification of data packs of waste drums destined for disposal. Position drums to track ability by using barcode reader and download information into the computer. 5. SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL Ensure that the work allocated to the section is done by planning the work, supervising it and assisting with the execution of tasks. Ensuring that subordinates carry out their routine activities according to operational procedures and safety requirements. Be on the lookout for possible problems, which can develop regarding the operation of PDO facilities.
