National Certificate Senior (Grade 12) National Diploma in Accounting, Internal Audit or relevant qualification. Computer literacy Good verbal and writing communication skill

Assist expenditure unit by maintaining supplies invoice register and preparation and submission of payment vouchers for reviewal. Budget and Reporting Revenue management inclusive of Billing, Debts Collection, Cashier and Indigent register management. Timeous delivery of monthly consumer statement. Financial statement and management reports. Monthly Value Added Tax reconciliations Procurement and Contracts management Assist in audit planning, identification of audit objectives, scope, and procedures. Conduct audit testing, Perform tests of controls, transactions, and balances under the supervision of senior auditors. Gather and analyse data, Collect and analyse data to support audit findings and recommendations. Document audit work, Prepare and maintain audit work papers, including testing results and conclusions. Perform month end and year end procedures on the financial system. Perform physical verification and barcoding of municipal assets. Assist assets unit in performing assets and fleet related reconciliations (Bank, Creditors, Assets, Fleet, Debtorsl, Grants, Payroll) Scrutinize assets register to identify assets condition that might have indication of impairment loss. Assist with implementation of SCM policy & SCM regulations. Assist the SCM unit with recording of requisitions on requisition register. Maintaining of supplier database. Assist with sourcing of quotations. @g @g
