The role requires sorting mail, files, documents and parcels, rendering delivery services, and ensuring that items to be collected are properly sealed and addressed. The messenger and driver will deliver mail, files, documents and parcels to the correct addressees, deliver submissions between offices, and ensure that recipients sign the delivery book or register. Accurate recording of contents and physical addresses in the delivery book is also required. Beyond deliveries, the position includes general office assistant tasks such as making copies, faxing and shredding documents, as well as rendering auxiliary administrative support as needed. The incumbent will also support the security profile of the office, assist with registry-related activities, and support operator-related activities as required.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified documents before the interview date, and any foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA.
