Manager – Roads Infrastructure Management

A BTech/BEng degree in Civil Engineering Professional registration (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng.) with ECSA 15 year’s relevant experience post registration Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite), Power BI (advantageous)

Manages the development and review of all infrastructure Asset Management strategies, Strategic Asset Management Plans and Technical Asset Management Plans for the Roads Infrastructure Management Department Manage and develop the asset management systems for Roads, Bridges, stormwater and slopes Develop and maintain a Departmental risk management register for effective risk mitigation. Ensure the development, monitoring and evaluation of long- and medium-term objectives/ plans for the infrastructure maintenance for all road, stormwater, structures infrastructure and networks within Urban Mobility directorate. To direct and monitor the key performance areas and key performance indicators of the Roads Infrastructure management department. Ensure appropriate, financial management, funding, budgetary provisions and financial controls and procedures are in place. Manage the development and implement of multiple, complex programmes for maintenance on roads, stormwater, structures and slopes, Manage the development and maintenance of multiple framework tenders/contracts to effectively meet the service delivery imperatives
