    Job Purpose

    The Technology Transfer Manager is responsible for commercialising the University’s research to generate impact and
    sustainable income. This includes managing a team to oversee technology disclosures, development through TRLs, and
    commercialisation. The role involves building strategic partnerships, conducting IP due diligence, managing the IP portfolio,
    and leading licensing, deal-making, and spin-out company formation. The manager ensures academic research translates into
    real-world applications that benefit both industry and academia.

    Postgraduate Research Degree (NQF 9) or MBA 5 -8 years working experience, with at least 3- 5 years relevant experience on technology transfer or related field.
