Details of the vacancy:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DUTIES
Qualification: Grade 12; Basic Traffic Officer Diploma offered by accredited Traffic Training Institutions. Degree or Advanced Diploma in Traffic Management or Traffic Policing/ Disaster Management. Valid driving license. firearm proficiency. Computer Literacy: MS Office. No criminal record: clearance certificate must be provided.
Experience: 8 years’ experience in protection services/ law enforcement/ disaster management inclusive of three years proven supervisory experience.
Skills: Leadership, Decision-making, Traffic law enforcement knowledge, Communication, Attention to detail, Ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge and Scope of work: Implements policies and procedures and ensures that by-laws, regulations and crime prevention are enforced. Manages a number of operational areas and ensures optimal use and maintenance of resources and equipment, and adherence to performance management criteria.
