Matric Certificate; PLUS ? A National Qualification, Diploma/Degree in Nursing Science recognized by SAQA; PLUS. ? Valid SANC Registration ? 5 years or more experience as a Clinical Programme coordinator PLUS ? Proof of Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Experience in program implementation, quality improvement, community engagement, empowerment on disease prevention, treatment adherence and monitoring will be an added advantage. Ability to interpret legislation and national policy and translate it into a practical framework for the Province. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:- The incumbent will provide provincial leadership for ACSM within Maternal Child & Women’s health and Nutrition (MCWH&N), with specific focus on contraception, teenage pregnancy, and termination of pregnancy, sexual assault and Nutrition services. The post manages the entire province:- Develop Provincial ACSM Strategy for MCWH&N: Develop & implement KZN ACSM Strategy for MCWH&N 2026–2030. Lead provincial campaigns on MCWH&N contraception choice, CTOP access, and teenage pregnancy prevention and Nutrition. Coordinate commemoration of health calendar activities. Improving service delivery through capacity building Values Clarification:- Conduct district support visit, Train district health promoters & PRO’s & CBOs TOP Act, & gender norms. Conduct values clarification for TOP & sexual assault care with PHC staff. Conduct comprehensive SRH training. Data, Reporting & Evidence for Advocacy: Use DHIS, http://Tier.net, & survey data to identify hotspots for malnutrition, teenage pregnancy, low CYPR, TOP access. Produce quarterly MCWH&N Health Advocacy dashboards for district support. Stakeholder, Engagement, Coordination & Partnerships:- Identify and map stakeholder: ward councilors, NGO’S religious leaders, schools, traditional leaders and community health forums. Convene and chair quarterly ACSM stakeholder forums at the facility. Maintain updated stakeholder database with contact details and commitments. Draft MOUs with external partners for ACSM activities., with NGO for teenage pregnancy outreach. Monitoring, Reporting and Feedback Activities: Monitor impact of ASCM activities using pre/post surveys or referral data e.g., Contraceptive Services Uptake , Drive demand creation for long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC) via community radio, schools, and CBOs. Monitor couple year protection rate (CYPR) across 11 districts. Address myths & provider bias through social mobilization dialogues. Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) Access & Advocacy Strengthen community awareness of legal TOP services per Choice on TOP Act. Reduce stigma via healthcare worker and community values clarification. Monitor designated TOP facilities functionality & referral pathways. Sexual Assault Services & GBV Response . Coordinate advocacy for Thuthuzela Care Centres & 24hr sexual assault services. Lead community mobilisation on PEP access within 72hrs, forensic services, and justice pathways. Partner with SAPS, NPA, DSD for 16 Days & 365 Days campaigns. Cervical and breast cancer screening. Increase cervical and breast cancer screening. Monitor the implementation of cervical cancer screening strategy.
