To advise and assist the Corporation on legal matters in the execution of Armscor’ s mandate to ensure the protection and promotion of Armscor’s interests, which will include effective negotiation and drafting of contract documentation, compliance tracking, and dispute resolution coordination while ensuring adherence to legislative and governance frameworks.
Requirements
Essential: • Grade 12 • LLB Degree or Relevant Bachelor's Degree qualification in Law. TECHNICAL/ LEGAL CERTIFICATION/PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION • Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court, or Legal Practitioner is recommended. Essential: • Minimum 4 years' experience in legal advisory, commercial law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, or litigation management • Exposure to drafting and reviewing standard contracts, legal documents, or policy instruments under supervision. • Good understanding of commercial, governance, and regulatory legal principles. • Experience assisting with legal research, compliance monitoring, and administrative legal support. • Exposure to legal advisory support within a team environment, with increasing responsibility over time. • Ability to escalate complex legal issues and work under guidance of senior legal practitioners.
