Requirements
Current registration for a PhD degree in pharmacology Experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and quality assurance processes A track record or emerging potential in research publications and conference presentations Experience with academic administration within a higher education environment Good computer literacy skills ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Duties
Facilitate teaching and coordinate modules within the BPharm programme Development, review, and alignment of study guides, learner materials, and assessments in line with university and SAPC requirements Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, pharmacology related Engagement in own research, including publication in accredited journals and presentation at national and international conferences Participate in community engagement and collaborative research projects. Contribute to academic student development by identifying students at risk timeously and develop intervention strategies, monitor student progress and make necessary referrals Provide consultative services to post graduate students and staff Participation in departmental, faculty, and institutional administrative duties Execution of any other academic or administrative tasks as delegated by the Head of Department
