    JOB OPPORTUNITY FINANCE ? CAPE TOWN STADIUM IT Administrator (CTS) REF NO: FIN 76/26 Cape Town Stadium is seeking a professional, organised and service-oriented individual to join the ICT team as an IT administrator. The successful IT Administrator candidate will provide hands-on technical support for all stadium ICT systems, ensuring reliable operation during events and normal business hours. The role is required to support users, assist with infrastructure, and respond rapidly to incidents in a high pressure, live event environment to contribute to the successful delivery of sporting events, concerts, corporate functions, hospitality events and other activities hosted at Cape Town Stadium. This role is ideal for an energetic and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced events environment and is keen to gain exposure to live event and venue operations while supporting the delivery of world-class events. Please note that this position is an entity position and will be appointed on the entity conditions of service and not the City of Cape Town conditions of service Requirements: • Grade 12 and a relevant professional ITC qualification • 2 years relevant and IT support or technical assistant role • Stadium based role with significant on-site presence. Event-driven working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Fast-paced operational environment. Key Performance Areas: • Provides hand-on technical support for all stadium ICT systems. • Ensuring reliable operation during events and normal business hours. • Assist with setup and support for event-day ICT requirements (offices, control rooms, media areas, Wi-Fi) • Provide IT support before, during and after event to maintain system availability • Assist with basic server room check (power, cooling, cabling, environment) • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, access control procedures and data protection requirements • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment and consumables to ensure effective stock control and accountability • Provide administrative support to the IT systems coordinator and the ICT Please apply online at www.capetown.gov.za/careers (external applicants) or via the SAP Portal (internal applicants) unless otherwise stated.
