Duties
Applies basic concepts and knowledge to aspects of services, programmes, systems, policies and practices associated with a Geo-Information Science (GISc). Participates in design, application development and implementation in response to client requirements. Participates in research into GIS and complementary technologies. Participates in forums that exchange functional and operational information on immediate, short and long term objectives and current developments, problems and constraints. Participates in specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with running a GIS unit.
