    Job Purpose: To oversee the process of new township establishment, scheme amendment and services installation to provide suitable, effective and efficient services to customers

    Requirements

    An appropriate three-year career-related tertiary qualification (national diploma or degree) in Civil Engineering or in a study field related to the position Professional registration will be an added advantage At least six years’ relevant experience in water and sanitation infrastructure operations management Supervisory experience will be an added advantage A valid Code B driving licence Computer literacy Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost Willingness and ability to work standby and overtime Personal attributes Negotiation skills; business acumen; leadership skills; project management skills; and/or competencies communication skills; analytical thinking skills; organisational skills; budget management skills; having integrity and patience; intelligence; innovative thinking skills; being energetic; imagination; flexibility; willingness to accept responsibility; decisiveness; ability to pay attention to detail

    Duties

    Direct outcomes associated with the use, productivity and performance of personnel in the unit Monitor adherence to human resources and office policies and procedures, such as staff attendance Define and adjust key performance indicators, job designs and role boundaries of personnel against service delivery requirements Conduct appraisals to measure performance and objective accomplishments against agreed targets, and review goals and set new objectives
