    Requirements

    An appropriate three-year career-related tertiary qualification (degree or national diploma) in Public Administration or Management, Business Administration or any other field of study related to the position At least six years’ relevant working experience in a support management environment Supervisory experience will be an added advantage A valid Code B driving licence Computer literacy with experience in SAP Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost Personal attributes Good knowledge of City of Tshwane human resources policies and procedures; verbal and/or competencies and written communication skills; planning and organising skills; financial management skills; ability to work under pressure; good interpersonal skills; negotiation skills; conflict-handling skills; ability to deal promptly, and in the interest City, with situations where conflicts of interest arise; ability to present ideas and beliefs in a manner which is consistent with the rules and regulations of the organisation and department; ability to act decisively against corrupt and dishonest conduct; performance management skills; individual coaching and mentoring skills; project management skills; principles of human resources administration; change management skills; diversity management skills; knowledge of policies, procedures, ordinances and resolutions governing City personnel activities, conditions of employment and employee benefits; business acumen; administration management skills

    Duties

    Execute generic personnel management functions Deliver administration, auxiliary and logistical support services Monitor adherence to human resources and office policies and procedures Ensure optimal and correct use of resources of staff and office machines Ensure registry and archive support operations Assist in administrative support operations Ensure asset and inventory management support operations Render office occupancy and parking support operations Ensure telecommunication and IT support operations Provide word processing support operations Provide fleet management support operations Ensure effective meeting and event support operations Assist with occupational health and safety audit and reporting Assist with effective workplace safety inspections
