The EPWP is a key government public employment programme that works to address poverty and unemployment by providing short-term work opportunities to the previously disadvantaged citizens of South Africa, more particularly those residing within the boundaries of Nkomazi Local Municipality. 125 Vacancies will be distributed to all the 33 wards and only one person per household will be considered for appointment. Acts of fraud and dishonest in this regard will be punishable by disqualification. REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: South African Youth citizens, particularly those born and bred within the Nkomazi Local Municipality boundaries, with valid identity document, Good interpersonal and communication skills. Qualifying candidates must be above the age of 18 with participation prioritization focused on 60% Women, 55%Youth and 2% Persons with disabilities whoever qualifies must be unemployed and coming from disadvantaged background as contemplated in the EPWP prescripts. Applicants will be expected to carry out field work duties at all times. INSTRUCTION TO APPLICANTS: Applicants should submit applications clearly indicating name of post and physical address in addition to a detailed Curriculum Vitae and SARS Certificate of registration. A certified copy of applicant's ID must be attached to the application.
