Executive Manager: Operations GAUTENG GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: The Supplier Park Development Company (SOC) Ltd trading as AIDC is a Government owned, public entity company established to provide support to the SA Automotive Industry in its drive for global competitiveness. The AIDC's success hinges on its human capital, and in the pursuit to realise its strategic objectives, the AIDC aims to recruit an Executive Manager: Operations in the Operations Division on a Five (05) Years Fixed Term Employment Contract . The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Location: Rosslyn, Gauteng Division: Operations Remuneration: TCOE R1,795,638.58 per annum Job Grade: E3 Purpose of the Role The Executive Manager: Operations will be responsible for leading and managing the organisation's day-to-day operations, including Facilities Planning and Development, Facilities Maintenance, Business Support Services, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ), and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The role ensures effective execution of the organisation's strategy and business plan in support of key organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategy and divisional roadmaps Manage strategic stakeholder relationships across government, industry, and partners Oversee divisional budgeting, financial management, and expenditure control Provide strategic oversight of office administration and facilities management Ensure operational efficiency, risk management, compliance, and governance adherence Lead infrastructure development, maintenance, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ), and security functions Oversee organisational reporting, including non-financial performance reporting Drive strategic projects, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) and a Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Built Environment (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Property Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture e.tc or related field) and Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in Built Environment/ Business Management/ Operations Management/Project Management or related field Professional registration with the relevant Built Environment Council (e.g. PrQS, PrCPM, PrCM, PrArch, etc.) will be an added advantage Minimum 10 years' management experience, with at least 5 years at an Executive or Senior Management level in the industrial park or property management. Experience in Facilities Development and Planning, Facilities Maintenance, Business Support Services, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ), and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will be advantageous. Strong background in strategic and financial management, operations and administrative leadership Knowledge of process optimisation, integration, and continuous improvement Knowledge of project management, corporate governance, business controls, and Board-level reporting AIDC is an equal opportunity employer.
