OF POSTS : 03 REFERENCE NO. : DPKISMH 07/2026 SALARY NOTCH : GRADE 1: R 229 440.00 – R 260 520.00 Per annum : GRADE 2: R 272 778.00 – R 310 890.00 Per annum : GRADE 3: R 319 071.00 – R 374 412.00 Per annum OTHER BENEFITS : 13th Cheque, Medical Aid (Optional) & Housing Allowance (Employees to meet the Prescribed requirements) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST: • Senior Certificate or Equivalent. • Enrolled Nursing certificate. • Certificate of Service from previous/current employer endorsed and stamped by HR. • Current registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse (2026 receipt) • Successful candidate will have to spend minimum of one year in service. GRADE 1: No experience required. GRADE 2: A minimum of 10 (Ten) years appropriate/ recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as an Enrolled Nurse with SANC in Enrolled Nursing GRADE 3: A minimum of 20 (Twenty years) appropriate/ recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as an Enrolled Nurse with SANC in Enrolled Nursing RECOMMENDATION • At least two (2) years proven experience working as anaesthetic nurse in theatre will be an added advantage • Computer Literacy KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, TRAINING AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: • Demonstrate understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. • Good communication skills • Good interpersonal skills KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Provide nursing care duties under direct or indirect supervision of professional nurse. • Maintain accurate patient records and statistics. • Perform clinical nursing practise in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined for the health care facility. • Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care. • Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors and clinicians.
