POST 31/336 : DIPTANK ASSISTANT REF NO: DARDLEA/2026/08/91 Sub Directorate: Ehlanzeni North District Animal Health Services SALARY : R201 093 per annum CENTRE : Bushbuckridge North REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification. Experience in animal handling will be an added advantage. A valid Code B/EB or higher driver's licence Skills and Competencies: Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with farmers/clients and other levels of communities. Problem solving skills. Competent with livestock handling. Ability to work under pressure. Basic Computer skills. DUTIES : Render animal dipping services. Minor maintenance of animal handling and dipping infrastructure. Assist with animal disease control including vaccinations, treatments, castration/dehorning and animal restraint. Assist with community co-ordination and reporting. Counting and recording of animals. Maintaining the correct dip-tank water level, mixing dipping material, Monitoring dipping, Cleaning the dip tank area.
