    Job Purpose

    The Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for suitably qualified and competent individual to manage the initiation, facilitation and implementation of social crime prevention projects, programmes, initiatives and services within the Western Cape Province.

    Minimum Requirements

    An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years middle management experience.

    Manage and facilitate the initiation, implementation and monitoring of safety programmes, services and partnership initiatives according to the Western Cape Strategic Framework (safety plans); Manage stakeholder relationships for the support and effective functioning of safety partnerships; Plan and manage the work of and account for the overall performance of the Sub directorate; Records and Information Management; People Management; Financial Management.
