Civil Engineer

• Provides comments on opinions and alternatives with respect to the processes and
  procedures encapsulated in specific complex engineering work.
• Applies principles and techniques associated with the development and presentation of
  technical designs for complex forms of engineering work related to specific projects
• Disseminates information on the professional aspects of a specific design concept and
  provides reports detailing interventions and outcomes.
• Provides advice/information and guidance on the principles, procedures and applications
  associated with a complex form of Engineering Project.
• Coordinates and/or guides sequences and procedures associated with the preparation
  collation of contract documentation and/or evaluating tender applications for complex
  engineering work related to the project.

Essential Requirements
 

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Civil
  Engineering.
• Registered as a Candidate Civil Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
  or within 3 months of employment.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 2 years relevant post qualification experience.
