Job Purpose
This programme aims for proper placement of unemployed graduates with agriculture related qualifications in relevant farms or enterprises with the agriculture value chain to reduce the unemployment rate among youth of Western Cape. Further provide them with required practical hands-on experience and by linking participants with potential entities that support the development of entrepreneurs.
Minimum Requirements
(Applicants applying for Stellenbosch):An appropriate 3-year B-degree or higher qualification in Biotech / Food Science and Technology / Microbiology/ Viticulture and Oenology. You desire an opportunity to gain practical work experience. You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape. You are unemployed graduate between the ages of 36 and 45 years. Youth 18-35 years. Persons with a disability are encouraged to apply.(Applicants applying for Bredasdorp):An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or higher qualification in Viticulture. You desire an opportunity to gain practical work experience. You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape. You are unemployed graduate between the ages of 36 and 45 years.
