COMPETENCIES: Extensive knowledge of relevant Public Service policies and legislation. Report- writing and presentation skills. Computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint). Good interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to travel. The ability to work under pressure. A valid driver’s license. DUTIES: Develop, implement, monitorand evaluate population policy, strategiesand programmes. Conduct demographic research inconsultationwithrelevantstakeholders.Developanddesigncapacitybuildingprogrammesfor theDirectorate and government departments to implement the population policy. Facilitate the integration of population factors into the planning processes. Provide advocacy and information, education and communication activities to supportpopulationanddevelopmentprogramme.
