    Requirements

    A Bachelor of Oral Hygiene Degree [A relevant master’s degree and higher] Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Oral Hygienist with independent practice. A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA in the profession. A minimum of 5 years appropriate experience in Management. Proven experience in teaching and learning, research and community engagement.

    Duties

    Be involved in the general management and administration of department. liaise and support the head of Oral Hygiene and Dental Therapy in teaching and learning activities; undertake research activities (supervision, planning and execution). Plan and manage clinical and outreach services. Academic and resource management. Assist in the implementation of GDoH and SMU policies and programmes.
