ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS AND GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICES

• Manage, plan and produce Videography & Multimedia services.
• Develop multimedia processes of video editing and post-production for the department in ways that reflect innovation &

implement special requirements in covering government programmes and activities.

• Provide photographic services support.
• Provide technical support and innovation services for multimedia.

• A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Multimedia Arts,

Graphic Design, Film & Video Production, or Digital Media or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).

• 3 - 5 years’ experience at supervisory level in the same or related field.
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Except for people with disabilities).

Knowledge of animation and motion graphics, Familiarity with web design and development, Excellent attention to detail, Strong organizational and time-management skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Good communication skills, Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro, Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Experience with 3D modelling and animation software, Excellent communication and collaboration skills, Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, Creative problem-solving skills, Certification in multimedia design or related areas, Professionalism, Accuracy, Flexibility, Able to Work Independently, Co-operative, Team player, Supportive, Willing to work under changing and difficult circumstances, Government video documentaries and live streaming, Television and online broadcast, Concept and Video Script writing, Video Documentary Research, Video capturing, Video editing and video filming, Knowledge in recording operating the sound system, cabling and patching, Excellent attention to detail, Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
