ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE

• Develop and implement departmental ICT systems and applications.
• Develop and enhance departmental ICT portals, SharePoint solutions, and workflow automation.
• Maintain, support, and improve departmental ICT systems and digital solutions.
• Conduct systems analysis, testing, documentation, user support, and ICT compliance activities.

• A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems,

Software Development, or ICT related qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).

• Experience in Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, Power Platform, open-source technologies, web development, workflow automation, and database management will serve as

an added advantage.

• 3 - 5 years’ experience at supervisory level in Information Technology field.
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Except for people with disabilities).

Software and web application development skills using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and related frameworks, SharePoint development and administration skills, Workflow automation and digital solution development, Database management and SQL querying, Systems integration, configuration, and deployment, Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving, Systems analysis and business requirements gathering, User support, technical support, and systems maintenance ,ical documentation and report writing, Research, analytical, and project coordination skills. Communication (verbal and written) skills.
