ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: POLICE OVERSIGHT

• Monitoring SAPS Components.
• Assess customer satisfaction in policing precinct/area.
• Monitor SAPS Garage.
• Provide admin support to the directorate.

• A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Social

Sciences/Public Administration/Research/Criminology/Policing or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the same or related field.
• Valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

Knowledge and Understanding of Public Service Act, Policies and procedures, PFMA, South Africa Police Service Act, Civilian Secretariat for Police Service, Policy Framework for the Government-wide Monitoring and Evaluation System, SAPS National Instructions and Legislation, National Development Plan, Extensive knowledge in monitoring and evaluation tools and systems, Communication skills (Verbal & non-verbal, Computer literacy, Investigation and interviewing skills, Analytical and decision making skills, Report writing skills, Problem solving skills. Extensive knowledge of monitoring and evaluations skills and South African Police Service legislation and policies.
