Remuneration

Minimum educational qualification
An appropriate National Diploma (NQF 6) or equivalent.
Inherent requirements of the job
Valid driver’s licence. Willingness to travel and work overtime if needed.
Experience
Appropriate experience in Information Management within a health provider environment.
Duties (key result areas/outputs)
Data Management and Quality Assurance: Ensures the accuracy, quality, and compliance of healthcare data through validation, auditing, reporting, and adherence to prescribed standards, while supporting data users and continuous quality improvement. Monitoring and Evaluation: Analyses health data, monitors performance, and supports informed decision-making and quality improvement. Information Systems Management: Manages hospital information systems by supporting users, monitoring data quality, controlling system access, and ensuring compliance. IT Support and Coordination: Provides IT support, manages helpdesk requests, maintains IT assets, and ensures system compliance and continuity. Line Function and Staff Supervision: Supervises staff performance and development while ensuring effective operations and compliance with HR policies. Support to Supervisor: Ensures service continuity by acting for the supervisor when required and supporting stakeholder coordination.
Competencies (knowledge/skills)
Good working knowledge and experience in Health Information Systems (SINJANI; Clinicom; ECCR, Hectis and SPV. Advanced computer literacy in MS Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Logical thinker with attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and reliable outputs in a deadline-driven environment.
