Key Performance Areas
- Provide direct support to virtually impaired employees to access departmental information and services
- Conduct accessibility assessment and identify barriers affecting virtually impaired person
- Facilitate communication between virtually impaired employees and co-workers/stakeholders etc.
- Provide administration services and support
- Support disability awareness campaigns, commemorative days and training initiatives
Prerequisites
- A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate qualification (NQF 6) in Social Work/ Disability Studies/ Community Development/ Psychology/ Public
Administration/ Management / Office Administration or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the same or related field
- Valid driver’s license

Knowledge of working with visually impaired people, Knowledge of disability services Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Safe driving skills, Time Management, Good Communication Skills, Diversity Management, Computer Literacy, Orientation And Mobility Skills Knowledge and understanding of PFMA, Finance policies, Conflict management skills, problem solving skills, negotiations skills, Computer literacy, management skills, Interpersonal relations.
