They will ensure the Uniform Patient Fee Schedule is correctly applied through proper assessment of patients, and will develop, implement, and maintain patient administration systems and services to meet quality standards at the CHC. The role also involves collecting and verifying patient-related information and statistics, and producing reports that support accurate and timeous management reporting. Safekeeping of patient records and patient valuables falls under this position, as does supervising and controlling those processes. Revenue collection is another key area, with the supervisor expected to develop, implement, and monitor measures to optimise income, prepare and submit financial reports and returns monthly, and perform month-end and year-end processes. Risk management plans must be developed, implemented, monitored, and reviewed, and the supervisor will participate in service delivery programmes. Reducing patient waiting times is a specific focus, as is implementing discipline and providing guidance to staff. The post also requires ensuring the effective, efficient, and economical use of resources allocated to the component, including the ongoing development of staff.

Applicants must submit a fully completed Z83 form and a detailed CV, with certified copies of qualifications and other documents requested only from shortlisted candidates.
