    Experience

    Appropriate experience in a store environment. Appropriate experience of procurement processes.

    Minimum educational qualification

    Senior Certificate (or equivalent).

    Competencies (knowledge/skills)

    Good interpersonal skills. Computer literacy (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). Good written, verbal, listening and typing skills. Effective organising and record keeping skills. Ability to work well independently and in a team and be able to work under pressure. Must be self-motivated and reliable.

    Inherent requirements of the job

    Valid (Code B/EB) drivers’ licence. Willingness to perform overtime when required.

    Duties (key result areas/outputs)

    Perform tasks related to procurement administration, such as inviting of quotes on ePS, placing of orders, preparing quotes for Quotation Committee and follow-up with suppliers. Provide an office administrative support function. Events, workshop, project and meeting management. Warehouse management which includes the issuing and receiving of stock, maintaining and managing stock levels, ensuring proper warehouse control, capturing of all relevant documentation on LOGIS and keeping updated filing of all documentation. Ensure compliance to all relevant prescripts related to the stores. Handle telephonic and written queries from Vendors and End Users. Support to Supervisor including responding to basic queries, scheduling appointments, diary management, taking of messages & minutes, copying, office administration, emailing and sending out notices.
