Remuneration

Competencies (knowledge/skills)
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel). Ability to function as a team player, with or without supervision. Ability to function under stressful environment and cope with a heavy workload. Proven ability to produce and organize formal documents, spreadsheets as well as manage e-mails. e mail responses and electronic calendar. Appropriate planning and administration skills, time management and good telephone etiquette.
Minimum educational qualification
Senior certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
Duties (key result areas/outputs)
Appropriate experience in Secretarial Administrative Support in a Nursing component.
Experience
Provide administrative support to Nursing Management. Provide effective communication via telephone and by interacting with Nursing Management and staff. Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence. Ensure efficient record keeping of all nursing information and gather nursing statistics. Assist staff from clinical areas with enquiries. Co-ordinate training and development logistics by preparing training venues and ensure that all equipment and tools are readily available.
