    1X ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT LAW ENFORCEMENT

    Salary: R 565 910. 04 per annum (Job level 07)
    Job Purpose: The job purpose of Assistant Superintendent is to monitor a safe, accident free,
    user-friendly town with clearly marked road signs and effective traffic law enforcement.
    Key performance areas: The Assistant Superintendent must ensure that the daily work is done

    to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council. He/she will be responsible for: Monitor

    all roads signs and marks are adequate to regulate traffic Monitor adherence to traffic law

    enforcement and controls traffic for funeral, schools patrol, accident, or other purposes.

    Administer the issuing of summons and notices Coordinate activities to staff Monitor the
    utilisation of application and maintenance of equipment, tools, and material for Law

    Enforcement Officers Perform Administrative and human resources related activities.
    Requirements: : Grade 12, National Road Traffic Diploma ITO III, A and EC Driver’s license and 2
    years relevant experience.
