    OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL MANAGERS DEPARTMENT
    1 X QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER: RISK BASED
    (Job Id Number: 8/2/1/001)
    Salary: R 741 278. 04 per annum (Job level 4)
    Job Purpose: To coordinate, implement and monitor the Quality Assurance and Improvement
    Programme (QAIP) within the Internal Audit Unit.
    Key performance areas: Quality Assurance Officer must ensure that the daily work is done to
    satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council • Maintain Quality Assurance and
    Improvement Programme (QAIP) • Conduct internal risk audit in accordance with the standard
    for the professional practice of Internal Auditors • Maintain Audit Methodology and Compliance.
    • Conduct Performance Monitoring and Reporting • Risk Management and Governance Support
    • Provide Training and Capacity Building • Provide Administrative functions and General
    Responsibilities.
    Requirements: B.Com Degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting or relevant qualification (NQF
    Level 7), Certificate of attendance of the Quality Assurance Course by the Institute of Internal
    Auditors (IIASA)or relevant, Registered with Institute of Internal Auditors of South African (IIASA),
    Drivers Licence and Three (03) years’ relevant experience.
