Requirements
1. Recognised three (3) year National Diploma in Accounting / Financial Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics or equivalent qualification 2. Minimum 1 – 2 years relevant work experience (supply chain / assets / logistics or financial management) 3. Advanced Computer Skills (MS Office) 4. Sound knowledge of a financial system (Pastel/Bas/Logis/Sage 300/ITS /Fixed Asset Register system) 5. Knowledge and understanding of legislative framework governing the Public Services (PFMA) 6. Good communication skills (verbal and written) 7. Valid driver’s License
Duties
1. Management of financial documents and records pertaining to assets and asset management (monitor and review allocation of assets) 2. Management of the asset register (monitor and review capturing of all physical assets) 3. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements 4. Assist the manager with audits, monitoring and reporting 5. Assist with managing all asset movement within college 6. Compilation of asset budget 7. Supervise human resources / staff 8. Any Ad-hoc finance related duties
