Requirements
Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (National Senior Certificate) or equivalent 1year working experience in a welding workshop environment A valid driver’s license will serve as an advantage with ability to pass Randwater K53 KnowledgeWelding knowledge Basic safety knowledge and safe working procedures General maintenance SkillsAbility to do minor welding repairs Communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to complete job cards Ability to understand welding work instructions/ procedures AttitudeSelf-motivated Safety consciousness Team player Performance driven Willingness to learn
Duties
Assisting Artisan with maintenance tasks and inspections Loading and unloading of tools and equipment on to the transport Painting and cleaning structures, pumps and floors Inspect and repair all mechanical plant/ equipment on site Work as determined by foreman To work overtime when there is an urgent task on your area of work To ensure that all required defects and work instructions are completed and handed in within two days after completion of tasks To report all plant defects that relate to health and safety To ensure all safety precautions are followed when working with tools and equipment. Security and control over allocated and Artisan tools To ensure access control system adhered to.
