    Requirements

    Current registration for a PhD degree (pharmaceutical chemistry discipline) Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering laboratory-based chemistry practical’s Experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and quality assurance processes A track record or emerging potential in research publications and conference presentations Experience with academic administration within a higher education environment Good computer literacy skills ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………

    Duties

    Facilitate teaching and coordinate Pharmaceutical Chemistry modules within the BPharm programme Development, review, and alignment of study guides, learner materials, and assessments in line with university and SAPC requirements Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects Coordination and liaison with senior laboratory technicians in the planning and implementation of Pharmaceutical Chemistry related practicals Engagement in own research, including publication in accredited journals and presentation at national and international conferences Contribute to community engagement initiatives and integrate community engagement interventions into pharmacy curriculum Contribute to academic student development by identifying students at risk timeously and develop intervention strategies, monitor student progress and make necessary referrals Provide consultative services to post graduate students and staff Participation in departmental, faculty, and institutional administrative duties Execution of any other academic or administrative tasks as delegated by the Head of Department
